The original recording recording wasn't at concert pitch, so I had to pitch correct it to play along. The key is halfway between F and F#, which leads me to suspect that the track was recorded in E at a slower speed then sped up in the studio. This would explain the particularly guitar unfriendly key and the ridiculously high vocal! This also means the guitar player (Daryl Stuermer) had an easier job of playing the solo!
