Here is the sync that broke me and my emotions. (IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL!) It's of "Kiss the Girl" from Howard and Alan's first collaboration with Disney, The Little Mermaid. This track comes from the 1994 Disney Records CD set, The Music Behind the Magic.
Here's Alan Menken's song note from the set's included book:
"Here is an example of demo and final being seamlessly the same. I cross-fade from the demo to the final after the first chorus. It's not that easy to tell where it happens.
"Howard and I were particularly proud of this song because we thought we had achieved the illusive 'liftable' song. Unfortunately, nothing from The Little Mermaid has had a life on the pop charts...but there's still time."
