C'est Tomer Sisley, l'interprète du rôle principal de Raphaël Balthazar, qui a confié l'information à nos confrères. Une annonce attendue par les suiveurs de la série, puisque le comédien avait déjà annoncé la fin de Balthazar en février dernier à l'occasion d'une interview dans le magazine 50' Inside. « On ne devrait pas tarder à attaquer le tournage de la cinquième et dernière saison de Balthazar », avait-il confié, avant d'évoquer d'autres projets (notamment Largo Winch 3) ne lui permettant pas de poursuivre l'aventure au sein de la série.
